We're Moving!!

Most of you know already about our upcoming move to Saudi Arabia. I've been terrible about keeping my blog up and have promised to start posting pictures again to keep everyone up to date. It's already proven to be quite an adventure. The long process of getting all of our visas finally ended and now we have until mid August to get there before our visa's run out. Our house got packed up 2 weeks ago and now we're homeless until we leave at the beginning of August. Or, if you look at it from the kids point of view, we have 4 homes! We go to Papaw & Gram's and that's home, we go by our house on Green Candle and that's still home, we go to Miss Kim's and that's home, and then Daddy lives in our home in Saudi! Tim has been spending about 75% of his time in Saudi and coming home just long enough to get over jet lag so he can get it again! We're SO ready to all be together again.

We went back to Houston last week for a few days and jumped right in to a couple of days at VBS. We came home (Papaw & Gram's home) today with a new tire (we got a flat on the way to Houston) and 7 new staples in Katelynn's head. She was trying to do a back flip off the side of the pool and didn't jump out far enough. She has been SOOOOO brave and never even cried one tear - through the accident, staples and all!!!

The summer has started off rough and I'm praying that will change, or maybe God is just trying to prepare me for the many unknowns that lie ahead. It has been harder than I ever imagined to leave Houston and all of the friends and comforts that I have there. Yet like the song says, through the chaos and confusion I know that God is still sovereign and we feel God's peace in the midst of it. We would covet your prayers for our family while we transition to and through the unknown. Our spiritual lives is one of our greatest concerns as we are about to be in a place where we can't worship God freely and have been forced to leave behind everything Christian that we own. Please pray for us to find Christian fellowship when we get there and for our growth and closeness to God to multiply.

Thanks for all of your prayers, we would love to hear from you if you come across this blog post!
