Uno family campout!

We had so much fun on our first camping trip with both of the girls. We went to a state park that is less than an hour from home. The girls did great! Katelynn was a little confused about what camping was at first, but hopefully her experience explains itself. From the pictures you’re probably thinking, “What, they sell tents with pack and play’s now!” Yes, we do have a big tent and it works out great to put a pack and play in for Olivia to sleep in. Katelynn slept on her pallet and Tim and I managed to get the airbed all to ourselves! Katelynn was quite occupied with her surroundings and enjoyed the dirt! Tim told her the only thing she needed to remember was that ‘camping is dirty’, which was a bigger lesson for Mommy than for her. The weather was good, although a little sprinkly at times. Olivia was a little more difficult to keep occupied. She spent lots of time strapped into the wagon, which she enjoyed, watching Katelynn pour dirt all over everything in sight (including her). Although she was introduced to hot dogs and the taste of dirt a little sooner than we’d have liked, she still survived!
