We went on an adventure up the Jungfrau Mountain, which involved several different forms of transportation. The train trip up ended with about 30-45 minutes of solid tunnel through the mountain. 2 hours and about 10,000 feet later we found daylight again and it was awesome! We were definitely feeling the altitude change with tiredness and headaches, but were amazed at the beauty up there. It was a beautiful clear day, the kids got to play with some snow and we walked across part of the glacier.
This was so funny! They have an "Ice Palace" mined out of the glacier and it was amazing to walk through. We even came across the chipmunk (or whatever animal it's suppposed to be) from Ice Age. :-)
