We always talk about how quickly the pace picks up when Fall hits. I love the Fall. It has a lot to do with the weather, but it brings with it so many wonderful memories for me. We’ve had a busy couple of months, but had lots of fun! The girls and I got to go on a mini vacation to Lake Tahoe in the beginning of September. We got to celebrate my sisters wedding out there and had a wonderful time sight seeing. It was a beautiful place and the cool weather was a nice break from the Texas summer heat.
This past weekend we got to spend some time with old friends! We took a long weekend to head to Houston and detoured for a 7 hour pit stop in Aggieland! We had such a wonderful and fun filled time reminiscing and walking around campus again. I spent probably every year I had in school dreaming about the day I would walk around campus with my husband and children and it was so special to see my dream come true! I look forward to many more of those days. There’s just something about that place! We got to celebrate Laura’s birthday with her (we won’t say which one, although it’s a pretty significant one) and then celebrate the marriage of one of Tim’s friends from college. It was great to see old friends and catch up on everyone. We can’t go to Houston without seeing Heath and LeeAnne! Once again, they generously gave up their own space and let us crash for the night. They are such cherished friends! Morgan and Katelynn have so much fun together and Olivia keeps quite occupied watching their entertainment.
