The summer has hit us at full swing again this year. We’ve had lots of fun outside celebrating it’s arrival. Time in the pool, time with family and friends, and of course.....yard work! We’ve spent lots of time trying to replace the thorns that blow into our backyard from the field next door. We finally bit the bullet and committed to laying Bermuda sod in most of our backyard. We had some friends offer some of their help, of which we are extremely grateful, and it still proved to be a hard, long, hot, dirty and sweaty day! We got to drive over the border to Oklahoma to the Sod Farm and pick up our 5 pallets of sod. It was really fun to see the farm and neat to watch them cut it for us.
